School Bus Service

Bus services are provided for a limited number of students at an additional cost. We appreciate the cooperation and good behavior of students in our buses, and their support in helping us maintain safe conditions.

All MIS students are representatives of the school and must behave in an appropriate manner while on the bus.

All students are expected to respect and adhere to the following rules for their safety and the safety of others:

Safety Rules

Critical safety guidelines

  • Students must not open windows or put hands/head outside
  • Students must not leave bus unless it has completely stopped
  • No playing, shouting, or fighting in the bus
  • No throwing things out of the window
  • No running or playing between buses

Boarding & Exiting

Proper entry and exit procedures

  • Use correct bus area, enter buses immediately
  • No pushing while getting on or off the bus
  • Students who sit in front leave first, without pushing
  • Students can only get off at their correct stops
  • Students cannot go on a different bus

Behavior & Conduct

Expected behavior standards

  • Sit properly and do not move around in the bus
  • Follow all bus supervisor's and driver's instructions
  • Store bags as directed by Bus Assistant
  • Do not damage anything in the bus
  • Eating/drinking not allowed (water only)

Restricted Areas

Bus students must stay in the bus area and shall not go out of school or to the grocery store during school hours.

Parent Collection

Parents or nanny must collect KG to Grade 3 students from the bus in the afternoon for their safety.

Parents must inform administration by 12:15 PM if student is not taking bus to avoid delays and safety issues.

Disciplinary Actions

  • Non-cooperation may lead to bus suspension
  • Cleaning/repair charges for any damage
  • Continued non-cooperation may cancel bus service
  • Serious problems result in cancellation of bus service
